You studied hearsay in law school, and you know the definition – but do you know the rule and the exceptions well enough to feel confident during trial? Do you feel comfortable making a hearsay objection? What if your opponent asserts a hearsay objection – are you able to think on your feet and respond?
The San Diego Inn of Court Hearsay Program is for both new and experienced attorneys who want to learn and polish their understanding of hearsay and key exceptions.
Judge Robert J. Trentacosta, a distinguished member of the San Diego bench, will provide a review of hearsay and key hearsay exceptions through a series of short lectures and hypotheticals, followed by table exercises for the attendees. This multimedia presentation will focus on the practical application of evidence principles for trial lawyers with an emphasis on hearsay related issues.
